Meggie Schafer

Hello all! My name is Meggie Schafer. I am a 9th year missionary serving as the Team Director for the FOCUS team here at UCO.

I am so excited to be serving you all alongside my teammates this year! I am originally from Wichita, Kansas and am a graduate of Wichita State University.

The last 4 years I served as the Team Director at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Before that I served 4 years as a missionary at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina. The Lord is never outdone in generosity, and I have been blessed to live these last 8 years in service to His mission through my work with FOCUS.

I can’t wait to see what the Lord has instore for us here at Broncho Catholic this year!

Josh Gatz

Hey everyone! My name is Joshua Gatz. I am a FOCUS missionary originally from Gonzales, Louisiana.

Growing up, I developed a love for cooking, singing, sports and outdoor activities. I graduated from Louisiana State University before serving my first year as a FOCUS missionary at the Auraria Campus in Denver, Colorado.

Now entering my second year as a missionary, I serve you all at the University of Central Oklahoma, where I am dedicated to accompanying young men in their faith journey and helping them grow closer to Jesus Christ.

I am excited for this new chapter, eager to embrace life in Oklahoma, and look forward to building meaningful relationships in this new chapter.

Lillie Mazur

Hi! My name is Lillie Mazur and I am a first year Varsity Catholic FOCUS missionary! I am ecstatic to serve the student athletes here at UCO! 

I was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana where I went to Catholic school my whole life! I then pursued a collegiate soccer career at Nicholls State University where I played my 4 years and majored in Pre-Physician Assistant Studies! While at Nicholls, I entered more deeply into my Catholic faith, getting involved in FOCUS and living a life truly for the Lord. 

I am so grateful to be a part of Broncho Catholic and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store!
